As a production designer for the top beauty retailer in the country, I take the final artwork from our campaigns and version them out for various sizes, as well as making revisions and finalizing files, both print and digital, before handing them off to other teams or our vendors. In print, I have worked on in-store fixtures and window graphics, printed mailers and collateral pieces, magazine ads, and packaging. These pieces go into hundreds of stores across the U.S. and Canada and have quantities printed and delivered in the hundreds of thousands. In digital, I have worked on both static and dynamic graphics for the website, mobile web, the app, in social media, and advertising. Millions of viewers see these graphics daily as traffic is driven to encourage clients to shop for products. Quality control and an eye for detail is essential.
This cookbook is a collection of recipes from some of Houston's top chefs and restaurants. The name was inspired by our client's son who has a love for cooking and whose favorite foods to make are green beans and guacamole. The book was created as a way to help raise money for an organization that creates opportunities for children with learning and mental disabilities. Several book-selling fundraisers were held, so we also designed invitations for all of the events.
This is a preparatory school for students Pre-K through 5th grade that is very progressive in its methods of teaching. We designed annual reports, brochures, t-shirts, newsletters, and flyers. The school colors, blue and yellow, are used throughout these pieces, as well as photography of the current kids attending. The design has a bright and fun energy to show that this is an exciting place for kids to learn and grow.
For this accounting firm, the branding was designed to have a professional and classic look, but the pop of red made them stand out among the competition. After the departure of one of the partners, GD&D became Gainer Donnelly, and their identity went through a refresh to be more contemporary. Sans serif fonts were used in the new logo and typography, and more energetic graphic elements were pulled into the design. The red and gray remained to tie the old and new branding together.
This cafe serves healthy, delicious, pre-made meals all ready to take home, heat up, and eat. The menus are designed to be color-coded by food type, and labeled by letter what kind of meat, if any, is in the dish. This organizational structure is also reflected on the packaging, which makes different types of food easy to find on the shelf. Website designs were created as well as signage for the cafe.
As an avid traveler and photographer, Sam Gainer had years worth of beautiful imagery he had captured from countries all over the world from almost every continent. We created this book of his work, so that he had a way to share his journey with friends, family, and anyone interested in travel photography. We also designed a brochure and flyers for a book sale and signing event.
This is an all boys Catholic School that helps shape their students to be well-mannered, respectful, and devout individuals. Several yearly headmistress reports were designed as well as website options, and a booklet to encourage donations to the school to help support their mission.
